From Münich to Venice, along the route Innsbruck-Brenner-Eisacktal-Pustertal-Cortina d’Ampezzo-Belluno-Treviso. With its lengrh of 600 km and a height difference of 3,000 m, the recently inaugurated bike trail Münich-Venice is the most diversified in Europe. Whether you ride it by E-bike, racing bike, mountain bike or traditional city bike, the Munich-Venice bike path offers unique emotions for every cycling enthusiast.
The trail goes through such regions where cycling plays an important role for the development of tourism. To improve it, the tourist organizations of the regions involved – Bavaria, Tirol, Alto Adige and Veneto – met for the first time on February 23rd, in a meeting coordinated by EURAC (The European Academy of Bolzano). The workgroup has the task of indicating the future development of the project and to create new services related to the tradition of the territory – such as “Bike & Beer“, a combination of bike tours and tastings in various pubs along the way.
